It's about time I updated the journal.... some new deviations wouldn't hurt, either. I'll probably be posting some iPod Touch homescreen wallpapers 'cause I jailbroke my beloved last week (1337 h4x0r right here

). It was officially the scariest thing I've done this year... I don't know what I would've done if it died on me.
I probably need some kind of recurrent thing to happen in this journal that would cause me to use it more... hmm. Inspiring music? It'll do. Well, I've become a rabid Justice fan over the past month... love them love them love them. My favorite track would have to be Phantom Part II:
[link] Who would've thought that violin and slap bass would've gone so well together? I can't be bothered to add more tracks this time, but I'll be making a list- hopefully there'll be something more substantial to listen to next time.
Oh, and if you're not already: go and read something by `
queenhrosie! It's wonderful, terrible and strange. You'll like it.

I almost forgot the one exciting thing that's happened to me since I last journaled! I entered the BNZ Katherine Mansfield Short Story Competition (a slight mouthful), and could be in the draw for $1000! Yey! I think I have a fair chance, though that's the kind of thing that causes you to lose once you say it. Uh oh.
I'll post the story once the judging ends in October. I have started every sentence in this paragraph with a first person singular personal pronoun. Self centered bastard.
